It seems there might be a glimmer of hope for a new Tool album in 2013 after all.
At the beginning of the week Maynard James Keenan seemed to confirm that this year would not see the follow-up to 10,000 Days – released all the way back in 2006.
Sources around the globe have claimed that he appeared on Chilean station Radio Futurohe, and stated “I have not written any songs. So no, there is nothing.”
However, the story has now taken another turn as drummer Danny Carey has reported told New Zealand’s The Rock FM, “Sometime this year … that’s all I can say.” he continued, “The sooner the better for us. We’re working every day but you can never predict it, honestly. We’re really excited about it, so I hope all the fans will be too.”
