It’s a bill that already boasts Biffy Clyro, Bring Me The Horizon and Deftones amongst it’s number, but tonight it got even bigger.
Joining Biffy and Eminem, Green Day have been announced as the third headliner for this year’s Reading & Leeds Festival taking place between 23rd -25th August 2013.
Amongst today’s other announcements, Nine Inch Nails have been added to the main stage line-up for Friday (Leeds) and Sunday (Reading)

First they announced they were back, then there were the live dates set for later this year and a new album, now it seems it’s all going to happen a lot quicker than we thought.
According to a statement issued by the band, ‘Save Rock and Roll’ will now be release worldwide in April not May as originally announced. The statement issued by the band reads:
“So when we got this all rolling we didn’t expect it to be so crazy. But we weren’t kidding when we said we had the album done – so why wait? It means the world to us the way you have welcomed us back. ‘Save Rock and Roll’ now out early, April 15/16 worldwide.”
The album will of course include current single ‘My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark (Light Em Up)’. Check out the video below -
The band are scheduled to play the Reading & Leeds Festival in the UK (August 23rd -25th) alongside System Of A Down, Bring Me The Horizon, Deftones, Biffy Clyro and many more.
