It’s not every rockstar that can close a section of L.A.’s Hollywood Boulevard, but if anyone can, Dave Grohl can.
Performing as part of last night’s Jimmy Kimmel Live! show, The Sound City Players – this time made up of Foo Fighters, Rick Springfield, John Fogerty of Creedence Clearwater Revival, Krist Novoselic of Nirvana, Rick Nielsen of Cheap Trick, Lee Ving of Fear and Queens Of The Stone Age collaborator Alain Johannes performed on a stage outside the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood.
The all-star line-up’s next stop will be this year’s SXSW festival in Austin, Texas where they will play Stubbs on Thursday March 14th. Their album ‘Sound City – Reel to Reel’ which also includes appearances from Paul McCartney, Josh Homme and Trent Reznor, is set for release next week on March 12th.
